The fourth of July in Dana Point is sure to sparkle!!

Have you made plans to celebrate the 4th of July? Whether you are local or traveling from a far, NOW is the time to lay out your plan for America’s birthday!

Dana Point will be lighting up the sky above the Doheny State Beach barge and Dana Point Harbor around 9:00 p.m. on July 4th, making it the optimal destination to view the night sky full of magic, celebrating America from both land and sea!

The kick off to the 4th of July starts this weekend with a First Responder Night at The Ocean Institute, Dana Point Harbor happenings, and the Trolley Hop on Sunday, July 2nd that will be hosted by the Dana Point Chamber of Commerce and The City of Dana Point. The Red, White, and Boozed Trolley Hop is the perfect way to check out our local Dana Point restaurants with discounted offerings and not to mention trolley rides and stops throughout beautiful Dana Point!

Many of the hotels in Dana Point will be offering exclusive 4th of July themed activities from breakfast kickoffs for the holiday, poolside fun that is sure to make a splash, barbecues on the lawn, and spectacular viewing areas to see the fireworks from the resort and hotel balconies. Check out these last minute booking opportunities on our website for a complete list of places to stay and play in Dana Point.

On the 4th of July, enjoy a day at the beach, walk Dana Point Harbor, go out for a paddle, or dine at one of our amazing restaurants. There is so much to do leading up to the spectacular 4th of July fireworks display in Dana Point! We think it’s simply the best in Southern California, not to mention ORANGE COUNTY!! Watch from the land or view magic by sea with a 4th of July water cruise with Dana Wharf Sportfishing and Whale Watching, Captain Dave’s Whale Watching, or The Ocean Institute.

We hope you stay and play in #mydanapoint during this 4th of July! Make it a safe and fun adventure by checking out the City of Dana Point’s page for more information about the display and street closures.
