The staff at Doheny State Beach would sure appreciate any help from volunteers to clean up after the masses of 4th of July beach goers and party folks! This is the messiest day of the year, but when we are done, the beach and park are beautiful again. It is suggested you bring gloves.
The first of the nine-man outrigger canoe races of the Southern California Outrigger Racing Association, hosted by the Dana Outrigger Canoe Club. Outrigger Clubs from across California and beyond meet for this long distance race from Doheny up the coast to Laguna Beach, out to sea for two miles, then back to Doheny.
