Moms & Muffins Mother’s Day Cruise

Join the crew at the Ocean Institute for a special Mother’s Day whale-watching cruise!

On this two-and-a-half-hour cruise, you’ll get to experience everything the ocean has to offer from the harbor to miles beyond the jetty. Aboard the RV Sea Explorer, the Ocean Institutes 65′ research vessel, you’ll be in search of marine mammals such as migrating blue whales, large schools of dolphin, sunfish, and harbor seals and sea lions.

The Ocean Institute will also have professional naturalists on board to educate you on the lifestyles of these ocean creatures in Dana Point. There will be hands-on activities like sorting through mud samples from the ocean floor and trawling for Plankton.

This is something the whole family will enjoy, and mom will be able to sit back, relax, and take in everything the ocean has to offer. In celebration of Mother’s Day, they are offering complimentary muffins on the cruise.
