Ohana Festival was created and started by Pearl Jam’s leading member, Eddie Vedder, in 2015. Each year Eddie Vedder takes the stage along with other big names and up-and-coming bands.
The festival not only showcases amazing music, but also advocates the importance of the ocean and beach preservation through a “collection of panels highlighting oceans, activism, environmental justice, art, community, and indigenous voices.” Each year a portion of the festival’s proceeds is donated to a variety of local charities including the San Onofre Parks Foundation and the Doheny State Beach Foundation.
Guests will have the opportunity to hear from environmentalists, researchers, professional surfers, and more in The Cove. Check out the list of storytellers that will be featured this year.
This year includes over 35 live performances with headliners Stevie Nicks, (September 30) Ohana Festival founder Eddie Vedder, (October 1) and P!NK (October 2). You can also expect to see notable bands including; Khruangbin, Brittany Howard, The Revivalists, Billy Strings, Manchester Orchestra, St. Vincent, Dermot Kennedy, and many more!
