Nestled along Pacific Coast Highway just steps away from the ocean, El Caminante Bar & Bungalows has been meticulously recrafted and features highly ornate Spanish hacienda inspired design including custom Saltillo tile flooring, hand-painted Talavera tile murals, authentic antique Monterey furniture, vintage light fixtures and hand-carved Dutch-doors. The hotel has 30 intimate bungalows, including the the “El Camino” luxury suite with its own in-room wet bar, and a master casita called “The Hacienda” with a 400 square foot ocean view private deck. Embracing the spirit of Old California, every room at El Caminante offers expansive views of Capistrano Beach and Doheny State Beach.
Hotel and room amenities have been hand selected to enhance the guest experience and include plush king beds outfitted with sustainable fine Italian linens made by Bellino, jersey knit hooded bathrobes, 100% cotton slippers and Dyson hair dryers. A curated, premium mini bar complete with high-end beverages and snacks will also be available in each room.
